Bottle replacement for non-spill water coolers The following is a sanitary procedure for replacing a bottle on a non-spill water cooler. The procedure is meant to protect the cleanliness of the area around the probe and bottle neck. This will help to insure the quality and purity of your bottled water.
When a bottle is removed from a cooler before it is completely empty, water will drip out of the bottle. This will happen even with the small amount of water left in the cap when it's time to change the bottle. (This also happens with two-piece caps that have lost their plug.) This dripping water will end up accumulating around the probe if the no-spill adapter has a solid bottom. If left around the probe, the water from multiple bottles can splash up when a new bottle is placed on the cooler. THis can splash the person replacing the bottle and - on some no-spill adapters - wet the breather filter, causing water flow to stop. If there are openings around the probe, the water will simply flow into the cooling reservoir, avoiding any problem. Much has been written regarding cooler maintenance, such as cleaning the reservoir and hot tank, as well as the outside of the cooler. Regardless of the type of no-spill cap or adapter, the bottled water company and their customers must realise the importance of cleaning around the probe and wiping the bottle neck between bottle changes. This simple action will eliminate water accumulation, as well as dust on the bottle and in the vicinity of the probe. For the sake of a sanitary water delivery system, please instruct your employees and customers in the importance of wiping around the probe and bottle neck before replacing a bottle. Crealise can assist you in that instruction with training sessions and customer handouts. Thank you for using AQUASEQUR+ - the cost-saving, better-sealing, no-floater cap from Crealise Packaging!
